Technical Lead

We are looking for a skilled technical lead who enjoys working with teams and exceeding expectations. Key responsibilities include:
  • Work with engagement managers to scope and estimate development work for content managed web sites and web-based applications
  • Collaborate with the creative, business analysis and information architecture teams on requirements, system architecture and other technical aspects of implementation
  • Identify technical tasks, execute tasks, manage one or more developers and build standards-compliant sites/applications that meet specified requirements
  • Proactively ask questions of, and raise issues with, the team during development to ensure high-quality builds with minimal re-work
  • Work with the quality assurance team to identify, address and minimize bugs
  • Coordinate with the team and project manager to ensure work is done on time, within budget and meets the defined scope
  • Oversee development team including mentorship, resource planning and work assignments
  • This is a full-time salaried position with comprehensive benefits including health plans, 401(k) and life insurance. Salary depends on experience.

Qualifications

Strong candidates will have the following qualifications:
  • 4 year college degree, or higher
  • 2 to 5 years technical lead experience, preferably in the marketing/agency industry
  • Demonstrated experience with back-end and web-based technologies including:
    • JSP/JDBC/SQL
    • Javascript, AJAX, DHTML/XHTML, XML-XSLT
    • Flash/ActionScript
    • Content management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to write standards-compliant code with minimal bugs
  • Enjoys working as a team as well as acting independently when needed
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and doesn’t hesitate to ask questions
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • A positive, passionate and winning attitude
